My family and I moved to Hokkaido from Hong Kong in August 2008. We quickly fell in love with our adopted hometown of Date (pronounced Då-té) and soon decided to build our house here. It was the combination of the friends we made, the beautiful natural surroundings, the city’s convenience and the wonderful Steiner Schools for our two little girls that made this an easy choice.
