After living and working in the US and Hong Kong for many of years, Noriko and her husband, Ian, decided to make Hokkaido their home in 2008. Besides raising their 2 daughters, Noriko is busy these days putting her years of business experience to good use in running HOKKAIDian with Ian.

Hamada-san’s family has been a part of the Sobetsu farming community for 5 generations. The fact that the Hamada Orchard is one of the most loved and respected orchards in the area is the result of over 130 years of passion and dedication to the art growing fruit trees. HOKKAIDian is honored to be part of this tradition and help offer this treasure to our customers.
Norikazu Kawamata
The Kawamata clan has been in Hokkaido for 4 generations and Norikazu’s family has been in the seafood business for just as long. Hokkaidian customers can now benefit from Norikazu’s expert skills and connections to get the best and freshest Hokkaido seafood.
Daisuke Yoshii
Being an avid outdoor enthusiast, moving to Hokkaido from Tokyo was a natural move for Daisuke and his wife and 4 kids (yes…4).
