Spending a few days with friends at the Annupuri Village

For the second summer in a row, we got to spend a few precious days with our good friends the Tan Family from Singapore.  Also for a second year in a row, we spent a few days at the beautiful Annupuri Village up at Niseko.

The chalets are alpine style houses with high ceilings, wood burning stoves and full-sized kitchens.  The 3 bedroom chalet we stayed in was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids.

While the adults enjoyed food and drinks in the kitchen and dining room, the kids were having fun outside (the deck or in the yard.a0  And when the sun got a bit intense, they moved into the basement for some action on the Wii.  The chalet we stayed in last year even had a pool table.

But, of course, being in Niseko, the outdoor activities is the way to really have fun.  Over our 5 day stay, we went on guided hiking tours / star gazing, horse-back riding, rafting, tree trekking, bike riding.  The list of activities goes on…

Besides the great outdoor fun, Niseko also has many great restaurants to choose from.  From sushi shops to Isakeya, curry soup to burgers, steak to seafood.

The folks at Annupuri Village are friendly and extremely helpful.  If Niseko is on the itinerary for your Hokkaido trip, Annupuri Village is definitely highly recommended.
