Measuring a wingspan of up to 2.5 meters, the Stellar Sea Eagle, one of the largest eagle in the world, migrates to Hokkaido every winter to feed on the salmon after the spawning season.

Their size and the striking appearance make them quite a sight to behold.  During Dec to early March, we are fortunate to be able to observe these majestic creatures at their natural habitat.
